What’s New

• More control over “Next Due On” dates (when Frequency Type = Month or Year):
  
• Month Start – 1st day of due month
  
• Month End (default) – Last day of due month
  
• Exact Date – Matches the day of month from “Last Completed”
• New Base Month toggle – Controls which recurrent training items need a Base Month:
  
• Enabled – Base month auto-sets from “Last Completed” & frequency; Grace Eligible toggle appears
  
• Disabled – Base month logic doesn’t apply; Grace Eligible controls hidden
  

• Customizable Grace Periods – Set Pre and Post Grace windows individually, with units of Day, Month, or Year for each.
  
• Day
  
• Pre-Grace: Calculated by counting backward from the 1st day of the base month into the preceding month(s), based on the configured number of days.
  
• Post-Grace: Calculated by counting forward from the last day of the base month into the following month(s), based on the configured number of days.
  
• Month
  
• Pre-Grace: Automatically set to the 1st day of the month immediately preceding the base month, based on the configured value.
  
• Post-Grace: Automatically set to the last day of the month immediately following the base month, based on the configured value.
  
• Year
  
• Pre-Grace: Automatically set to the 1st day of the month immediately preceding the base month, based on the configured value.
  
• Post-Grace: Automatically set to the last day of the month immediately following the base month, based on the configured value.
  

Base Month & Grace Workflow

• Pre-Grace Completion – Training completed in the pre-grace window does not shift the base month. The next due date is still calculated from the original base month.
• Base Month Completion – Training completed in the base month keeps the same base month going forward.
• Post-Grace Completion – Training completed in the post-grace window does not shift the base month. The next due date is still calculated from the original base month.
• Training Completed Outside Grace Periods – Training completed before the pre-grace window or after the post-grace window resets the base month to the month in which the training was satisfied. Future cycles are calculated from this new base month.
  
• Base Month Disabled – Due dates are calculated only from completion + frequency. Grace windows do not apply.
