Easily take an aircraft out of service by creating a job card from the Schedule Board. The required user roles for this function are Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance Technician.
Right-click on a single cell and 'Create Job Card' or click a cell and drag for the number of days the aircraft is projected to be out of service to set the dates accordingly.
Note: When a job card is created from the Schedule Board it automatically creates the offline event which is different from creating a job card directly from the maintenance area. When the modal launches the Out of Service defaults with the first selected date in the range, and the Projected Return to Service fields default to the last selected date in the range.
Additionally, job cards can be edited directly from the Schedule Board by double-clicking on the event or right-click and selecting "Job Card Details" which will open the job card within a new tab to manage.
The tooltip for Job Card events on the Schedule Board has been updated to include the Notes field from within the Job Card record. The notes will show 70 characters, including spaces, within the tooltip followed by an ellipsis when applicable to visually indicate to the user there is more to the note than what is displayed. If no note has been saved then the tooltip displays N/A.
A Note field is available as a template option which indicates the trip contains Notes.
To view the note, right-click on the flight card and go to 'View Notes'. When selected the Notes modal displays the notes based on category. The notes are read-only for quick visibility and are not editable from this display.
The Operated By selection within a trip can be leveraged when submitting APIS on an international flight leg to differentiate the Operator Detail on the submission. To submit a flight leg manifest and pull the details associated with the Account assigned to the tail that is assigned to the trip, select the account name in the Operated By selection.
After the manifest is submitted, the View All Submissions displays the information from the organization's account instead of the APIS account and the same validations are checked.
An update has been made to the Avianis/CAMP integration which refers to the RTS indication on the CAMP discrepancy record. When pulled from CAMP if the item is marked RTS, we receive that status and designate the discrepancy as closed.
A new feature is available that gives users the ability to assign crew to a tail with duty positions for a duration of time. This assignment can be a reference of who to crew when trips are scheduled for the defined duration of time or it supports an auto-crewing function. These assignments function independently from duty records.
To create an Assignment access the green plus at the top-right or right-click on the aircraft line of the tail number you are wanting to assign crew to within the date/time frame needed. Next, select "Create Assignment" and fill in the required fields.
By associating a crew member to a specific tail an auto-crew feature is available. When a trip is scheduled during the assignment time frame (within the start date/time and end date/time) the assigned crew are automatically crewed on the trip. This applies to any previously created or new trips.
Once saved the assignment displays on both the aircraft and crew members' schedules as long as the setting is enabled within the Schedule Board shown here:
Note: Assignments are not currently seen in mobile and are not supported in Scheduling > Aircraft/Crew.
Within the company Schedule Board event settings, customize the colors assigned to Assignments which drive how they appear on the Schedule Board. These settings can be found in My Company > Profile > Schedule Board > Event Type Colors.
Note: These colors cannot be edited per user. The defaults configured here apply to all users and can only be edited by personnel with the following user roles: Account Admin or Ops Manager.
