TSA Passenger Vetting

NOTE: The 2 options below replace uploading the Watchlists into Avianis per the new required procedure change from TSA. Airline Choice requires a setup process which is outlined in the article linked below.

Airline Choice

Airline Choice is a TSA approved 3rd party system that transfers the data for Part 135 flight legs. Airline Choice receives the information from Avianis and sends it through the DHS router to the TSA. The manifest is vetted by the TSA and sends the results to Airline Choice which then returns the results to Avianis.

The TSA requires First Name, Last Name, DOB and Gender to be entered and transmitted to their system. The passenger data is transmitted automatically for all future flights within 72 hours of departure time.

For full details on how to get setup with Airline Choice, the fees associated, and how the communication between the systems works, please reference Airline Choice: Passenger Vetting.

The status of each passenger is then displayed in the Trip Feasibility > Watchlist. For details on how the results display in the Trip Feasibility, reference Feasibility > Watchlist (Airline Choice).

Have additional questions? Please visit Watchlist Vetting FAQ's.

TSA: Passenger Data Template

To obtain the data manually, the TSA Passenger Data Template is available at the leg level which allows users to access and export the pertinent data in the required TSA format for import into Secure Flight. The file format to upload is xls.

Full details on the passenger data template can be found here, TSA: Passenger Data Template.

Wyvern Multi Account Support

Organizations using the Certificate Segmentation module can now setup the Wyvern integration using separate credentials per certificate. When utilized, a crew member is synced automatically, and the integration looks at the certificate the crew member is tied to and uses the credentials entered for that cert to sync their data to the relevant account
