how to set trip stages change controls
Operations > Settings > Configuration has an option to Change Controls by Trip Stage or Leg Status. Below will describe how to set up Trip Stages when they are set as the Change Controls.
Click "Create New"
Enter the applicable data and click "Create"
Name - Name of stage
Active - Check the box to designate the stage as active
Enable Log - Designate per stage whether users are able to make changes and save the flight log at that stage. If enable log is not checked, the appropriate individuals will be able to access and view the log but it will be in read-only mode.
Calendar Style - The color reflected on the grease board when a trip is in this stage
Auto-set Leg Status - In review, cleared, ready for release, released, en-route, arrived and verified are the various leg status options a user may associate to a specific stage. For example, if you designate the leg status as "released" to the "dispatched" stage, when the trip stage is set to "dispatched," all legs will show "released" automatically.
General Roles - Select who in the organization is able to change trips to this stage. If no roles are selected for this, all users with access to the trip will be able to progress the trip to this stage.
Warning/Critical Hard Stops - Select whether warning and/or critical hard stops are active on the stage and select who in the organization is able to override those hard stops.
The change control options also relate to APIS status if selected. The system will look at the change control options that are selected for the trip stage and will update the status of the eAPIS transmission to critical in the snapshot if any of the selected change controls occur after the eAPIS has been submitted. Change Control Items: Aircraft, Manifest, Crew Assignment, Airports, Reg Type, FBO Assignment, Scheduled time change, Pax/Crew Info
Passenger/Crew Information Update - Set change controls for the leg status and international leg status based on aircraft adjustments. Controls can be setup for passenger/crew information changes including Name, DOB and any changes made to the Travel Document set for the Passenger or Crew. This can be specified to only affect the international leg status, the normal leg status or both. Finally, when a trip is cancelled (marked as Inactive), all International Leg status' will automatically change to cancelled as well.
Exclude Aircraft Designated As - When change control options are selected on a stage to auto set a leg status, if a regulatory type is selected that type will be excluded from the change control settings. The regulatory type on the aircraft profile must be selected.
