eAPIS Updates
Travel document selections
Up to two travel documents can be selected in the eAPIS submittal process for each passenger and crew member. This allows users to determine which passport to use for each submittal individually.
Owner information in aircraft profile
Aircraft owner information can now be documented per aircraft instead of utilizing the account association information.
Default emergency contact in eAPIS account
In the eAPIS setup, users are now able to specify a default Emergency Contact for submitting eAPIS with that account. If an emergency contact is not set on the eAPIS account level, the system will utilize the emergency contact information for the PIC on the flight time as it did previously.
Trip/Flight Leg Updates
Custom regulatory sets
Users can create multiple regulatory sets for Part 135 and Part 91 flights. Rest, duty and block time limitations can be setup to ensure crew compliant across all areas. Users can also manage hard days off and landing currency all from one place
Additional Flight Leg Status
Two additional options have been added to the leg status drop down within a trip. Users can track when an aircraft is enroute and when it has arrived at its location.
Trip Lock Leg Verification
When set to yes, a user is not able to lock a trip until all legs in the trip are in the verified or cancelled status.
Trip Cancellation Updates
When a trip is marked as cancelled, all legs will automatically be marked as cancelled. If the trip is re-activated, all legs will be marked as active again. All open tasks will also be marked as cancelled automatically when the trip is cancelled.
Pilot briefing acceptance
Flight crew can now accept flights within Avianis. If the trip is not accepted, flags will be thrown in the trip snapshot. Once accepted, change controls can be utilized to automatically remove the acceptance for specific legs based on passenger additions, airport changes and more.
Day/night takeoff and landing update
Initial day/night takeoff and landing type will now take into account the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise.
Day/night hour calculation based on block/flight configuration
Users can now determine if they would like to calculate the day and night hours on flight logs based on flight or block time.
Role-based flight leg status controls
Changes to leg status can now be locked down based on user roles to ensure proper process control.
TSA Watchlist results in activity feed
All TSA watchlist information will be included in the trip activity feed including who ran the lists, which lists were checked and the results. This provides an audit log to refer back to as changes are made.
FuelerLinx integration update
Departure and arrival FBO information is now pulling into the FuelerLinx area within the trip. This allows users to easily view which FBO has been selected for each leg without toggling back and forth between tabs.
Additional leg status controls
Users can now setup change controls for the leg status and international leg status based on aircraft adjustments. Controls can also be setup for passenger/crew information changes including Name, DOB and Travel Document changes. This can be specified to only affect the international leg status, the normal leg status or both. Finally, when a trip is cancelled (marked as Inactive), all International Leg status' will automatically change to cancelled as well.
Calendar Updates
Flight leg adjustment prior to saving
Users can move flight legs around on the schedule without committing changes. Conflicts will flag as adjustments are made to ensure legs do not overlap and that crew are qualified on the aircraft the leg is moved to. Once the user is happy with the updates they can commit them or cancel without any updates being made.
Personnel visibility controls
Visibility can be limited for users on the aircraft and crew calendar based on aircraft tail number. Crew can always view flights they are assigned to regardless of aircraft assigned in their profile. See User Profile Update > Scheduling Settings.
Consolidated crew and aircraft schedule
Both the crew and aircraft schedule views have been consolidated into on Scheduler option in the application. Users can easily toggle back and forth between the views without accessing another page.
Show crew update
On the aircraft view of the new scheduler, in additional to the existing Show Crew functionality for each aircraft, users can now also view only qualified crew or just directly assigned crew.
Expense Updates
Reimbursable selection
Users are now able to designate an expense as reimbursable or not directly from within a trip, flight log or expense entry page.
Quote Updates
Custom terms
On top of the default retail and wholesale terms and conditions, users can create custom term sheets that can be manually or automatically applied to quotes based on various conditions (tail number, airport, customer, etc).
Customer Portal Updates
Create trips from deals
Travel requests from the customer portal come into Avianis as deals. Trips can now be created directly from those records to accommodate for owner trips and other requests that do not require a quote first.
Trip number and aircraft display on trip calendar
Trip and tail number information has been added to each leg in the customer portal schedule. This allows users to easily view pertinent trip information across multiple tail numbers.
Time and distance information in travel request
When creating a new travel requests, users can view accurate time and distance estimates for specific aircraft before the request is even submitted.
Display customer portal changes in activity feed
All passenger and travel request additions, updates and deletions will be automatically tracked in the relevant trip activity feed in Avianis. Passenger contact information updates will also be tracked and will be displayed in the contact profile activity feed.
Change control based on stage
Passenger and request additions/updates can be locked down once a certain stage is reached within Avianis.
User Profile Updates
Restricted profile status
Users with the admin, ops manager, chief pilot and crew records manager roles can now put a user into a restricted status. This will ensure that user and other users without the appropriate roles will not be able to make updates to important crew info including medicals, logbooks and qualifications.
Scheduling Settings
Scheduling settings can be customized for users. When set to custom, select a specific aircraft or multiple aircraft to only allow a user to filter the custom selections on their calendar.
Employment information
A new employment tab has been added to the user profile to capture important information on each personnel member. Employment type, Hire Date and FSI Employee ID have been moved here from the profile tab and additional fields for termination date/reason and per diem rates have been added.
