OVERVIEW

The Operations Module within Avianis has been re-organized for easy access to the essential areas to the core of the operation: Tracking, Trips, Services, and more. The module is now composed of the Dashboard, which includes functionality for clear visibility of the operation's current and upcoming flights. This module also includes the trip and flight leg search pages, a new inclusive list of all trip services for easy management, the TSA Watchlist as well as all trip-related settings.


DASHBOARD


The Dashboard provides visibility of the operations flights based on the scheduled trip times. A Flight Tracking add-on is available for real-time flight tracking.

SEARCH
The search tab contains two options: Trip and Flight Leg search. The trip tab lists the route of the trip per row while the flight leg search page displays each leg per row. Each page contains various column and filter options that each user can customize, share and save. For a basic overview on the functionality, review Trip and Flight Leg Search.

TSA WATCHLIST
Vet passenger manifests and personnel by adopting the Watchlist Module. For more on setup, review the TSA Vetting (Watchlist) guide. 

REPORTS
The report tab includes all trip-related reports such as the Flight Activity Charts, Flight Data Analysis Reports and Operational Reports.


SETTINGS

Classifications

  • Cost Center / Business Units - Cost centers/business units are an option for users to define and assign on a trip by trip basis to assist in the billing and allocation process.

  • Delay Types - Create custom delay types to be selected in the flight log. The delays can be tracked through various reports such as the Fleet Dashboard Report, Flight Leg Search Page and Flight Data Analysis Report. 

  • Instructions - Create standard instructions used often. Special Instructions can be added in a trip to instruct the crew and/or passengers. When marked crew only the instruction will display on the trip sheet only. If not marked the instruction will display on the client itinerary.

  • Purpose Types - Purpose types can be created so the purpose of the flight can be selected. For example, maintenance, training, etc.  

  • Status Reasons - Trip Status reasons are required when designating a trip as inactive. This provides operations the ability to track the reasons for making trips inactive.

  • Trip Types - Trip types can be created so the type of trip can be selected on the creation of the trip or within the trip record. For example, charter, maintenance, owner, training, etc.

Configurations
Various settings related to operations on a global account level. Refer to this guide for details on all settings.

  1. eAPIS Accounts
    Setup Private/Commerical, CBSA and/or CARICOM accounts. Refer to the type for specific setup steps and submission details. 

  2. FRAT (Flight Risk Analysis Tool)
    Build a custom FRAT for the operation's SMS program. The following guide outlines the setup process, FRAT Setup.

  3. Stages
    The stages component of the Global Settings is where the operation can customize trip stages, classify their order, assign a color for display on the calendar views and add warnings and/or hard stops to assist in the trip building process.
