The Schedule Board introduces the ability to use Right-click Menus. Different menu options are available to the user depending on which view (Fleets, Aircraft, Vendor, or Crew) the user right-clicks in. Additionally, the Trips view provides different menu options when right-clicking depending on if the user is right-clicking on a blank cell vs. right-clicking on an event.
Right-clicking in a blank cell
When the user right-clicks in a blank cell in the Fleets view they have the option to select one of the following:
Create Event - Creates an event for the date and time selected in this view. The event is created for the logged-in user, but this may be changed. Events do not display in the fleet view.
Create Quote - The create request screen will default to the Quote Only toggle and also auto-populate the Aircraft field with the Fleet Name that the user right-clicked on. The date and time fields are determined based on the date and time the user right-clicked on in this view.
Create Trip - The create request screen defaults to the Trip Only toggle, and also auto-populates the Aircraft field with the Fleet Name that the user right-clicked on. The date and time fields are determined based on the date and time the user right-clicked on in this view.
View Aircraft/Qualified Crew - Filters the aircraft that match the generic type’s aircraft and crew that are qualified or directly assigned to that aircraft type or category.
Right-clicking on a trip
When the user right-clicks on a trip in the Fleets view they have the option to select one of the following options.
Change Aircraft - When Selected, a Pop Up Modal appears displaying all legs for the trip giving drop-down options for alternate aircraft per leg, or for all legs. "Recalculate Flight Time" checkbox in this modal will adjust any flight time applicable after "Save Changes" is selected. The checkbox defaults with the check.
Print Trip Documents - Opens the print screen allowing the user to view and/or print documents directly from the Schedule Board.
Trip Feasibility Check - This runs the trip level feasibility check.
Send Crew Message - Sends a message to the crew through the trip messages area (not the log messages).
View Services - Opens a pop-up window that allows the user to review the services assigned to that leg.
Log - Redirects the user to the flight log for the selected leg.

Right-clicking on a blank cell in the Crew view only allows the users to create an event. The event is created by default for the crew member selected. The Crew view also does not have any right-click menu options when clicking on events, such as medicals, training due, or events, and does not allow any crew filter options. If the user right-clicks on a trip assigned to a crew member they have the following menu options.

The Schedule Board allows for Double-clicking options on specific activities scheduled on the three different views. A blank cell, training events, transient gray cells, or medical events have no effect when double-clicked.
If a discrepancy is double-clicked, a new window pop-up displays the maintenance information regarding the discrepancy.
If a job card is double-clicked, the job card out-of-service details will pop up within the Schedule Board view/edit. In the event, you need to edit the information, right-click on the object and select "Job Card Details". The job card will then pop up in a new tab.
If a trip is double-clicked, the trip opens a summary window for that leg. Once the trip summary window has opened there is a Show All button in the top right-hand corner. Clicking this button shows the summaries for all legs of the trip. Once this is clicked the Show All button updates to a Hide All button. If Hide All is clicked the window reverts back to the single-leg summary. Edit options are not available from the summary window.
The user is given the ability to utilize the drag, drop and stretch features. To use this feature click+hold on an empty cell and drag to highlight specific dates/times and then right-click to create the event for the selected date and time.
Day view: The user can create an event or a trip that starts and ends at a specific hour:minute of the day.
Week view: The user can create an event hour by hour.
Month view: Events are created in 12-hour increments
The drag and drop feature also allows the user to move an event from one personnel to another. Doing so removes the original personnel and adds the new personnel to the event.
This same logic applies to dragging and dropping a trip to a new time on the same aircraft. In this scenario, the pop-up that displays normally within a trip asking if changes should be applied to the entire trip or a single leg appears in the window. If the leg that was dropped has been logged or locked, then the user receives an error that the leg cannot be rescheduled
Note: This pop-up modal does not display when the user drags and drops the flight leg from one aircraft to another (Management, Fleet, or Vendor). It will simply move the flight leg without confirmation on whether or not the entire trip should be moved.
When a trip is dragged and dropped from one aircraft to another, the flight time recalculates. Stretching or pinching an event changes the duration to the newly selected date/time.
If the user drops a trip from the trip's view onto a pilot, the system checks to see if the crew member is qualified. If not, a message appears.
If the crew member is qualified, then a popup appears that shows all positions to which that person is qualified. The user then selects a position and clicks Confirm.
If the user were to drag and drop a trip from one crew member to another, the trip removes the previous crew member and assigns the new crew member to the same position on the trip; however, the trip still checks whether the crew member is qualified, or not.
The 'Jump to' field allows you to quickly locate specific information without the need to scroll or filter/hide any non-matching information.
Use the 'jump to' text box to search a specific resource, i.e. Fleets, Aircraft, Vendor, or Crew. Once the resource has been selected the timeline view will “Jump To” that resource and will display it at the top of the selected timeline view.
Additional features provided for the information cards within the Schedule Board include hovering, warning triangles, and color-coding on the aircraft information cards.
The cards that represent flight legs are color-coded based on the setup in Event Type Colors located in My Company > Profile > Schedule Board > Event Type Colors. Additionally, another color can be customized to display based on trip type. Once configured, the flight card displays the color on the first line of text. The background color of the flight card still displays the customized color of that flight leg status. If there are no colors associated with a trip type, then the first line of text on the flight card matches the flight leg status color. Learn more about color coding here - Schedule Board: Color Coding.
Note: The trip-type colors do not display in the legend.
The user is able to hover over the various events in order to see an overview of the information for that event.
If the event displays a solid red triangle in the top left and/or right corner(s) of the qualifying event, the previous and/or next qualifying event has an airport mismatch. If the event displays a white triangle with a red outline in the top left and/or right corner(s) of the qualifying event, the previous and/or next qualifying event has an FBO mismatch. If the user hovers over the leg, it shows the mismatch details in the tooltip. These appear when one of the following occurs:
If the departure airport does not match the previous arrival airport flight event or offline event on the aircraft, then the red triangle appears in the top left corner of the flight leg. The warning shown in the tooltip is "Previous Airport Mismatch"
If the arrival airport does not match the previous departure airport flight event or offline event on the aircraft, then the red triangle appears in the top left corner of the flight leg.
If the arrival FBO for the previous leg on the aircraft is different than the departure FBO of that leg the red triangle appears in the top left corner of the flight leg.
If the departure FBO for the previous leg on the aircraft is different than the arrival FBO of that leg a red triangle appears in the top right corner of the flight leg.
If the previous event is a flight, the following details display on the line below Previous Airport Mismatch, “Trip [trip number] (Leg [leg number]) arrival does not match this departure”.
Additionally, if the previous event is from another offline event, the following details display on the line below Previous Airport Mismatch, “Job Card [number] offline location does not match this departure”
When the airport mismatch is after the offline event, then the warning shown in the tooltip displays as “Next Airport Mismatch” in red text and is underlined.
If the next event is a flight, the following details display on the line below Next Airport Mismatch, “Trip [trip number] (Leg [leg number]) departure does not match this arrival”.
If the next event is another offline event, the following details display on the line below Next Airport Mismatch, “Job Card [number] offline location does not match this arrival”.
Note: This information applies to both the flight’s and offline events
If an event on the schedule (flight, event, mx, etc.) crosses multiple days, it shows triangles on the bottom left and right corners indicating that the event carried over to/from the next/previous day. The event cards in the Fixed view can display one line of text provided the template is set up with one line. The triangles do not overlap and the background color is determined by the assigned text color for that event card.
If an aircraft is currently offline, the aircraft's background color is red. If there is no offline event but there is a deferred discrepancy that is not cleared, the background displays as orange. Otherwise, it displays in green.
Helpful Hints
Double-clicking on the blank schedule has no effect. This is intentional due to the extensive right-click menu options that are now available.
Even though an event can be created from the Fleets view, events are only displayed in the Aircraft and Crew views.
A user is able to click on the aircraft tail in the aircraft section to pop up basic profile information on that aircraft
A user is able to click on the personnel member's name in the crew section to pop up basic profile information for that personnel member. There is a field called Scheduling Notes at the bottom of the pop-out that can be used to add any notes pertaining to the crew member. This field is read-only for any user except those with the Scheduling Manager user role assigned. If the user has that role designated in their profile, they can edit the Scheduling Notes field. The field has a limit of 50 characters. This field can then be pulled into 2 template options, resource template, and personnel event template.
