This article will cover:
  1. Adding Crew Baselines for Version 1
  2. Adding Crew Baselines for Version 2

Add Crew Baseline Times Version 1

Creating the crew baseline times is best completed prior to inputting any flight log entries to prevent duplication.

Steps

  1. Access the personnel record you want to document times for.

  2. On the right side of the record you will see a Crew Times section.

  3. Enter the applicable data.

Flight log entries, any log book entries and the baseline times are the values displaying in the current column of the Crew Times sections.

Add aircraft specific time through the crew logbook. To find out more see Add a crew logbook entry. This is helpful when integrating with ARGUS and Wyvern,

Add Crew Baseline Times Version 2

Creating the crew baseline times is best completed prior to inputting any flight log entries to prevent duplication.

Create a V2 log book entry for Avianis to compile the Crew's Baseline times.  Follow these steps below to create a new entry:

  1. Access a personnel profile and click on the Log Book tab

  2. Click "Create"

  3. Select an aircraft type, logbook type, date, and any other relevant information and click "Save"

  4. Select if this logbook entry should be excluded in regulatory checks (this will default to NO)
If you wish to log generic single-engine, multi-engine, or turbine time, type Generic
in the Aircraft Model drop down add select a model. It is recommended to utilize these Generic options for Baselining, in addition to the aircraft types in your fleet.

Make sure if you are adding Generic times as well as Specific model times, you reduce the time in the generic type with what you entered in the specific model that would fall under that that generic type.  For Instance, you have 5000 hours Multi Engine Turbine, and have 1000 hours in a Citation X.  You will enter 4000 into the Generic Multi Engine Turbine and 1000 as a Citation X.

    5. Events like takeoffs, landings, approaches, etc can be documented in the Events section at the bottom of the logbook.

The logbook entries are associated with the crew times section in the personnel's profile. When a logbook entry is saved, the times will adjust accordingly.

Regardless of logbook version, we recommend all baseline logbook entries be dated prior to flight logs being saved.
