Flight Following: Setup

Flight Following: Setup

Avianis offers an integration with Flightradar24 to provide live flight tracking directly within application.

The flight following feature allows an operation to easily view, track, and receive aircraft movement notifications. This guide will outline:

  • how to setup aircraft on flight following; and

  • outline the additional settings details.

SETUP AN AIRCRAFT WITH FLIGHT FOLLOWING

  1. Access the aircraft profile > Operations tab > Configurations.
  2. Select the Yes Toggle to 'Enable Flight Following'

FLIGHT FOLLOWING SETTINGS

Once flight following is enabled, the following settings are available:

Enable Flight Following

Set this to YES to keep Flight Following enabled. If the aircraft needs to be turned off, set to NO.

Update Flight Leg Status

When YES, the leg status color coding reflects on the Operations Dashboard to enroute, and arrived when tracking data is received.

Arrival FBO Notifications

When YES, automatic emails will be sent to the Arrival FBO selected in the Trip > Overview page when the aircraft departs (applied to all flight legs). For more information on this setting, refer to Flight Following: Notifications.

Populate Off and On

Enable the ability for Off and On times to be received from the tracking integration and populate in the flight log. Flight Following: Off and On Times contains more details.

Select Groups or Personnel to be notified

Select specific groups or personnel to receive email tracking notifications on all flight legs scheduled on the aircraft.

Notes
Contacts (passengers) are not an option in this field, only personnel and groups of personnel.
