Avianis has adopted a new release process and the release note format has changed.
Avianis updates most every week on either Tuesday or Wednesday, with additional releases when warranted. Release notes will only be issued for notable updates and new features. Those who have reported bugs will be notified via email when they are fixed. To know when your account was last updated, the web version is shown at the bottom of the menu in YY.MM.DD.[build] format, e.g. "24.11.13.4"

Quote Search Updates

We've rebuilt our Quote Search page in the latest technology! This means better performance / faster loading and more features coming soon. For this initial launch, we've kept the controls and how they work largely in the same place and work in the same way. All your saved searches are maintained and all the viewable data is the same. However, there are a few changes to call out: 
  1. When visiting the page for the first time, it may take a few extra seconds to load, this is one time only
  2. When scrolling the records will load as they are viewable (Note: Scrolling faster will require a few moments more loading time)
  3. To add/remove columns, click the 'Columns' drop down on the upper right 
  4. Columns may be reordered with a drag & drop action 
  5. Column width may be changed with a click & drag 
  6. When using the search box in the upper right, it now requires to press enter/return to perform search 
  7. Export options have been limited to just Excel
Otherwise the behavior of the Quote Search is largely the same as before.

We will be converting all Avianis search pages to this new format over time with additional changes

Trip Update

Similar to the Quote update released last week, Avianis has greatly improved the time it takes to run multiple SkyPlan flight time calculations at once. We are seeing roughly 3x faster performance on creating a multi-leg trip! (See demo video below)

Opportunity Update

  1. Added 'Create Date' to Deals/Opportunities (not editable)
  2. View column and filter by 'Create Date' on the Deal Search page 
  3. Run Deal Cleanups using either 'Expected Close Date' OR 'Create Date'

Avinode Updates

When sending a message from Avianis to Avinode, users are now able to attribute that message to their personal username in Avinode and not just the company name. To enable this, follow these steps:
  1. Go to your user profile > 'Integrations' tab
  2. Click the 'Username' button for Avinode
  3. Enter the email address on your Avinode account that is logged in 
  4. Save 
Now all Quotes and Cancellation messages sent from Avianis to Avinode through the Opportunity will be tied to and indicate your specific username.
