Type Assignment Updates

The ability to add a user as a crew member to a flight (or a crew assignment) requires a Type Assignment. For personnel that act as crew but are not pilots and do not require Type Ratings, such as cabin service representatives (CSR) or medical workers, this could be a laborious process to get all types or make/models added separately. To address this situation, there are now several new options for Type Assignments: 'All Aircraft' and each of the aircraft categories/sizes. These selections may be made in the Make/Model field and only after the Type Rating field has been set to 'N/A'. Once one of these new selections is added, the Type Rating Position will be fixed at 'N/A' and the Issued Date, Last Recurrent Check Date, Full Motion Sim Date, and Proficiency Check Date will remain blank.

Given one of these new generalized Type Assignments is created, it will display on the user profile under a Miscellaneous header. The user will then be possible to crew for the selected Duty Positions on any aircraft that is the size selected or all aircraft.
