Docusign Integration

Our DocuSign integration makes it simple to send quote documents for signature, track their status, and automatically store the completed versions—all within Avianis.


 What Does the Integration Do?

This integration allows you to:

  • Send quotes for eSignature directly from your Avianis quoting interface.

  • Track the status of each document in real time (e.g., Sent, Viewed, Signed).

  • Download signed documents automatically once completed.

  • Ensure secure authentication with DocuSign behind the scenes.


 How It Works 

Here’s what happens behind the scenes—and what you can expect:


 Step 1: Create the eSignature Document

  • When you’re ready to send a quote, just click the "Send with DocuSign" button.

  • A custom quote document will be created using your branding and format.

  • Signature and date fields are placed in the right spots automatically.


 Step 2: Add Recipients

  • A popup (send modal) will let you enter the names and emails of the people who need to sign the document.

  • You can add one or more recipients depending on your process.


 Step 3: Send the Quote for Signature

  • Once you add recipients, click Send.

  • DocuSign takes care of the rest—an email is sent to the recipient with a secure link to sign.


 Step 4: Track the Status in Real Time

  • As soon as the document is sent, you’ll begin receiving real-time updates.

  • You’ll know when the document is viewed, signed, or completed.


 Step 5: Automatically Store the Signed Copy

  • Once signed, the completed quote is:

    • Automatically attached to the related quote/trip in Avianis.

    • Available for download at any time.

    • Triggers a confirmation email (if configured).


 What Happens Behind the Scenes?

You don’t need to worry about the tech, but just so you know:

  • We use secure DocuSign authentication (OAuth 2.0).

  • We built this using DocuSign’s official API, so it’s safe and reliable.

  • All signed files are stored in Avianis, reducing email clutter and file tracking.


 Additional Notes

  • External Recipients are fully supported—you can send documents to people outside your organization.

  • A second confirmation email is sent when signing is completed.
