User Roles Removed from 'Ack on Behalf of Crew'

Notes
If your organization has 'Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew' set to 'No', then these changes will not affect you.
Similar to how the User Roles were removed from Operations Settings last month, we are updating the 'Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew' setting to function without the use of User Roles since these are being removed in preparation for the new user permissions model. The 'Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew' may only be set to Yes if the 'Require Crew Acknowledge' is set to 'Yes'. The changes in this release will do the following:
  1. Operations > Operations Settings > Ops Configurations: If/When 'Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew' is 'Yes', then an additional field displays of 'Grant Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew to:' where individual Users and/or Groups may be added. The selected users/groups will then have the ability to acknowledge on behalf of crew.
    1. Previously, this was users with the User Roles of: Administrator, Operations Manager, Chief Pilot, and Scheduling Manager - and this is not editable.
  2. All users with the User Roles of: Administrator, Operations Manager, Chief Pilot, or Scheduling Manager at the time of release, will be added to an auto-generated Group called "Ack on Behalf of Crew Authorized Users"
    1. This group is editable from this point forward
    2. Find it under: Users > User Settings > Groups
  3. Given 'Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew' was 'Yes' at the time of this release, the "Ack on Behalf of Crew Authorized Users" Group will automatically be applied in the new 'Grant Acknowledge on Behalf of Crew to:' setting
Alert
Changing Personnel User Roles will no longer change who has the power to acknowledge on behalf of crew/other users. This must not be edited from the Group or applied directly to the setting itself.
