FEASIBILITY > TSA Check

Immediately after the manifest is sent to Airline Choice, they send the data through the DHS router to the TSA, TSA vets and sends back to Airline Choice and then the results arrive the the Feasibility & Tools > Watchlist section.

Each passenger name is listed along with the vetting status for each leg of the trip.

The following vetting status messages will display in the correlating color, Green (Good), Yellow (Warning) or Red (Critical).

  • Passenger cleared. Boarding pass may be issued (Green)

  • Passenger not cleared to board. Boarding pass issuance 'Inhibited' (Red)

  • Advisory 'Selectee'. Boarding pass may be issued (Yellow)

  • Known Traveler status (Green)

  • Advisory 'Insufficient Data'. Error - Insufficient passenger data (Red)

  • Known 1 Traveler Status (Green)

  • Known 2 Traveler Status (Green)

MITIGATION OF FLAGS

If the Advisory 'Insufficient Data'. Error - Insufficient passenger data error occurs check the required contacts data fields, First Name, Last Name, DOB and Gender. If a data point is missing this error will occur. We are defaulting Gender to Undisclosed if NA in the sending of the data. To correct, update the data point and the manifest will send again.

All other mitigation of vetting flags are to be handled directly with the TSA. Contact the DHS Resolution Desk at 1-800-CALL-DHS.

When contacting the (NTVC) National Vetting Center | US Customs & Border Protection the passenger record locator (also referred to as PNR) will be asked for. This number is within the trip flight leg ID. There are two ways to locate the #.

  1. Access the trip, hover over the flight leg icon. A URL will display on the bottom left of the screen (not fully pictured below).

  2. Access the flight log page. Refer to the URL in the browser search bar. The numbers in the URL are the flight leg ID.

Example below:

If TSA's records for the flight manifest differs from what is showing in Avianis then contact Product Support, opsupport@avianis.com or 888-558-2890, option 2.

If this method is not preferred or there are any technical issues and a workaround is needed at any time please refer to TSA: Passenger Data Template and export the data from Avianis and import into eSecure Flight for immediate vetting.
