How to setup the instrument currency requirements in a regulatory set

Configuring Instrument Currency Check (V2 Only)

This article explains how to set up the instrument currency checks including approaches, holds, and tracking within a regulatory set. The regulatory set is applied to a trip and/or flight leg so all of the checks are being done in the background and results are visible for flight operations when dispatching a trip.

This is to check for Part 91 PIC and Part 135 SIC Instrument Proficiency including logging the following flight events within 6 calendar months preceding the month of the flight.

  • 6 instrument approaches

  • holding procedures

  • intercepting and tracking courses

This setup replaces adding the Events within a training item. The training date is still recorded, tracked, and flagged accordingly.

Each flight event must be configured separately and in each Regulatory Set where required. Below are the steps outlining how to set this up in your account.
